Frequently Asked Questions About Event Flooring Hire

How much space do I need for a dancefloor?

You’ll need to allow enough room for the dancefloor itself, along with comfortable access around it. Consider your guest numbers, venue layout, tables, chairs and other event features when deciding how much space to allocate.

How do I choose the right dancefloor size?

Choose a dancefloor size based on your guest numbers, the amount of space available and how important dancing is to your event. A larger dancefloor is generally suited to larger celebrations or events where dancing is a main feature.

Our team can help you select an option that suits your venue layout.

Can flooring be used on grass or outdoor surfaces?

Some flooring options are designed for outdoor events and grass areas, while others may be more suitable for indoor or prepared surfaces. The best option will depend on your venue and ground conditions, so contact Olympic Party Hire to discuss your requirements.

Can flooring be combined with other event hire items?

Yes. Flooring can be coordinated with pavilions, furniture, lighting, tables, chairs and other event hire products to create a complete event space.

What should I consider before hiring event flooring?

Consider the size of the area, the existing surface, guest traffic, venue access and the overall style you want to create. It is also important to check whether the flooring needs to cover a dance area, walkway, entrance or larger event space.
