Front of House Team Member

Join our fun and friendly front of house team! This is a flexible 4-5 days per week and must be available weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in daily duties of our front of house operations including:
  • Assisting walk-in customers
  • Prepping customer collection hire items
  • Assisting customer returns
• Assist customers with loading and unloading items to maximise efficiency
• Ensure the front is as clean and safe as possible for customers and staff (ie. clear of tripping hazards, clean of rubbish)
• Carry out correct procedures for customer collections and returns
• Assist in general warehouse duties when needed

About you:

• Great customer service skills
• A can-do attitude
• Physically fit
• Experience in working in a fast paced warehouse and can easily multi-task
• Strong communication skills and shows initiative
• Confidence in using computers and can easily learn internal CRM System
• Available 2-3 days per week and weekends

Storeperson

Olympic Party Hire is seeking a full time Storeperson, who will be responsible for the receiving and dispatch of products, managing quality control and safety in a fast paced warehouse.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with the Warehouse and Maintenance Managers to ensure warehouse(s) are kept tidy and abide by all WHS processes.
• Ensure all items being received back from hires are checked thoroughly and brought to the relevant areas (ie. kitchen, repairs).
• Ensure any faulty items being received back are recorded in our internal CRM and flagged with relevant team members
• Implement processes and strategies to keep the warehouse tidy and run as efficiently as possible
• Manage Safety processes within the warehouse -ensure all first aid kits are stocked, fire extinguishers are in date, evacuation plans are up to date, etc.
• Assist in general warehouse duties when needed such as loading and unloading trucks

About you:

• Holds a forklift licence and is confident using a forklift
• Holds a White Card licence

• Preferably has repair skills and general maintenance knowledge
• Physically fit
• Preferably has experience in working in a fast paced warehouse

• Knowledge and understanding of WHS policies and Safety procedures
• Willingness to learn and listen to direction when required
• Efficient and able to keep up with our fast-paced work environment – prioritising is a must
• Strong communication skills and is confident speaking with all team members
• Shows initiative and has strong attention to detail
• Confidence in using computers and can easily learn internal CRM system
• Has permanent rights to work in Australia with no restrictions
